How important is the role of biblical theology in biblical counseling? How equipped are you to guide a counselee in understanding biblical/theological concepts that relate to issues pertaining to salvation, sanctification, and personal problems or issues? 
The necessity of biblical theology in biblical counseling has been indicated in numerous books of the Bible. The most significant point of reference is the book of Titus and 1st and 2nd Timothy. In his letter, Paul emphasizes the importance of biblical doctrines in everyday life of an individual. Counselling is a dialogue dealing with the sharing of wisdom of the perception of God on his understanding of reality for counselees (Lambert, 2016). Further, the primary principle of biblical theology is to establish what the Bible teaches today about any given topic.
The Bible and its teachings are relevant because man obtains change from counselling. Man is not autonomous but dependent upon his creator, and he must gain wisdom and knowledge through revelation. The relationship between a human being and God ought to be growing. Also, as a background to the significance of biblical theology in biblical counselling, for Adam and Eve to enjoy the glory of God, they needed to follow his counsel (Lambert, 2016). However, the first humans attempted to achieve independence of God, have his abilities and create their autonomy by accepting the counsel of Satan. In consequence, the evil counsel plunged humankind and the whole of humanity into sin and misery.
I am confident that I can create a coherent and concrete connection between the biblical teaching and the salvation and the personal issues of a counselee. I have sufficient knowledge on the topic and adequate concepts of biblical theology that the process of biblical counselling requires. Additionally, my classes have included human psychology as an essential subject for understanding counselling. Therefore, I have all the abilities that I need to guide an individual through sanctification and personal problems.

Yes. I am utterly comfortable with the Exchange Life Counselling Model. I understand the process of the practice step-by-step. The goal of the model intrigues me because it differs from the General Process in the sense that it focuses on increasing the faith and the reliance of the counselee upon Jesus Christ. Also, I am conversant with all the sessions, and the stages in the assessment of the client such as it emphasize on assessing issues such as the age of the client, their gender, education and marital status among others.
