The VAR model illustrates four learning styles that students use in the classroom and when answering questionnaires that include visual, aural, read/write learning, and kinesthetic learning. Finding the appropriate learning style that corresponds to a student's ability to absorb information helps one learn and remember information taught in the classroom. The VAR model will assist me in my study style this semester by easing the anxiety associated with questionnaires and tests. Applying the model will result in higher grades by maximizing the appropriate learning style through reading and practicing.
