The Power to Learn using Different Learning Styles

Essay Instructions:

Hi,
I need a professional philosophy statement that summarizes my professional beliefs and values about early childhood education. As well as my personal values and beliefs around teaching and learning. How do I believe young children learn? What do I believe my role is? And beyond teaching and learning, reflect and write about what you believe are the other important aspects of my role in the lives of children and families.
I hold Christian values as well. I can sing and cook/bake. I’m really good at making up songs and games on the spot.

The Power to Learn using Different Learning Styles
I believe every child is unique, and each has the power to learn using different learning styles. Consequently, one learning modality that works for one student may not work for another. Therefore, every child should be accorded the necessary skills to learn using their preferred learning style. I believe teaching is one of the most successful ways of impacting needed values in children as they grow. Therefore, as a teacher, I understand every child's needs and personality and do my best to ensure they have a good learning environment.
My philosophy is that every day God grants me to be a teacher is a good day to teach values and different skills to children. I find pride when a child learns how to do things they previously could not, even if they are trivial. Thus, when I see a child learning, I feel I am fulfilling my purpose of making the world a better place by teaching young children new and important ideas at a young age.
Children learn through observing and hearing what people around them do. Therefore, I am very keen on ensuring that every child I teach picks up positive values. I also believe that when children are in a fun environment, they tend to learn things faster. Thus, since I am good at cooking, baking, and signing, I involve them in activities they find fun to learn. Therefore, as they have fun, they learn at the same time. I am good at making up songs and games on the spot, and this is a trait I find very useful, especially if I want to teach an important concept to the children. I also ensure that every child I teach grows holistically. I not only focus on cognitive development; I also put a lot of effort into their emotional and cognitive growth, which are also vital for learning to occur.

Additionally, I believe my role is to make sure that they feel valued, appreciated, and respected every time...
