Parenting Styles: Attachment-Focused Parenting
Parenting is unique in that it is a culmination of several factors, including learned behavior (what we learned from our parents), peer influence, formal training/education, social-economic factors as well as cultural traditions. There are, however, some common elements in regards to parenting such as the ones described by Baumrind in 1966.

Parenting Styles
Authoritative, authoritarian and permissive, and uninvolved parenting styles are the types of parenting styles that have been identified. Dynamic and fostering parenting technique is linked with healthier child growth aftermaths in infantile and teenagers’ stages of growth. The authoritarian parenting style involves children following their parents' rules without obligation. The authoritative parenting style involves parents developing and maintaining positive relations with their offspring through enforcing laws and giving the outcome; however, it considers the child's emotional well-being. Alternatively, a permissive parenting style involves giving children an opportunity to learn without the parents interfering. Uninvolved parenting techniques involve parents who barely nurture, guide, and give their children attention.
