Throughout the world, the advancement of technology in agriculture has made attaining high education essential to the success of the agriculture industry. Agricultural processes are practical necessities that nourish the world and contribute to individual health wellness. Having loved agriculture my entire life and feeling that it is essential in curbing the most considerable percentage of humanity disparities, I know that attaining a Ph.D. in the field is right for me. I also chose the subject because of my family's connection to agriculture. My father and granddad were farmers. Therefore, I spent my childhood on a farm in Nigeria, Africa. My biggest inspiration is my family, which has upheld farming for generations. This has informed much of my identity and passion for agriculture. My father has inspired me to continue down his career path, and I bet he has motivated a handful of other individuals because he has numerous patents and inventions that have improved the agricultural industry in Nigeria.
I am a British African man aged 50, an immigrant to the United Kingdom from Nigeria, Africa. I have lived long enough to fully adapt to the British culture and language. I am fully prepared to study the Ph.D. programme at your institution, for I have established myself as a member of the significant academic community at the University of New York. I have completed my programmes in education and training level five with a Degree in Education, a Master's in International Marketing, and transferable skills that will enhance my agricultural research. I have also seen much in other disciplines like marketing and social care. I am applying to your programme because it is world re-known and has an incredibly competent faculty with world-class achievements in agricultural improvement. I particularly admire the work of Dr.___________________, who has agreed to supervise my research project on the Economic Effects Of Sustainable Agricultural Practices On Cassava Production In Southwest Nigeria.
One goal for my future is to be an internationally renowned scientist with expertise in agricultural research. I also intend to help people in Africa curb environmental disasters that strain agriculture. I firmly believe that studying for a Ph.D. in Agriculture will help me develop all the dexterities a good farmer should have. In this regard, I am focusing on sustainable agriculture as part of my Ph.D. research to make the world a better place to live. Furthermore, my grandfather had a saying, "the vital achievement of a good farmer is not the growing of crops, but the cultivating the wellbeing of humanity." I am confident that my many talents make me an excellent candidate. I am especially interested in the agricultural programme because I see it as a principal hope for progress in the future, especially during this time of war in Ukraine, where grains are insufficient for developing countries.
