The organization is looking for an IT Project Manager with previous experience in implementing systems, planning, budgeting, managing, and successfully executing IT projects to meet IT goals. Besides this, the project manager will be directly involved. Leading teams, planning and monitoring the team's tasks, and maintaining different project planning and management applications. Project managers are tasked with managing the project stakeholders and atmosphere. They also collaborate and cooperate with the team members and stakeholders (Moradi, Kähkönen & Aaltonen, 2020). The managers will also undertake project assessment and implementing effective IT strategies to deliver the projects.
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, computer science business-related degrees with a major in information systems and project management are required. An MBA with a technology concentration master's in project management, or advanced technical degree are also considered . Experience leading IT projects and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and CISSP or CISSP certification are preferred. The candidates are required to demonstrate their understanding of IT project management. Experience with using Slack, Basecamp, and Asana to manage projects, workflow, and tasks is also necessary for project management.
