The picture above shows the frustrations experienced by graduates after finishing college or university education. In most cases, graduates expect to get well paying and valuable jobs after graduating which is not always the case. As the picture portrays, although the graduate seems to be happy about the United States announcing that it has created 274,000 jobs, the graduate realizes that 90% of the jobs are low skill positions that pay low wages. The graduate is frustrated that he has not secured a well-paying job that could enable him utilize his skills effectively and earn high wages.
Thousands of young adults in the United States enrol for college diplomas or university degree with the expectation of earning a certificate that will enable them to secure well-paying jobs from reputable companies. However, some of them secure low skills positions that pay low wages. The supporting evidence presented in the picture includes the graduate holding his certificate with a delighted facial expression. The graduate is happy because the United States has created 274,000 jobs, and he is much assured that he will secure a job that suits his career.
