Setting Goals
Ever since childhood, I was told to work hard in school so that I can have a bright future. As a result, education has remained a critical component of my life. I believe that education is the most crucial tool I can receive during this stage of my life. The success that I expect to achieve in the future will be determined by the quality of education I receive. Indeed, the more knowledge I receive, the more opportunities will open for me in the job market. Attaining good grades in school will not only make me qualified for job opportunities but also ensure that I meet the required job standards.
Since I hold education to be critical, my goal in life is to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I have seen the opportunities available in the job market for criminal justice graduates. I envision to use my career to get a well-paying job. With the qualifications I will attain, I will be in a position to apply for good jobs in my field. Once I get a job, I intend to provide for my family. I would specifically provide for my mother and buy her a house so that does not need to work anymore. I value my mum so much because she has sacrificed a lot for me to be where I am.
