The revolution was the mind of the British to unite different colonies for social and economic wellbeing. The loyalists and rebels of the American Revolution engaged in a civil war with the fight focusing on equality in the nation. The rebellion of English rule led to the fight between the British army and colonial militia (Norton et al. 157). The American Revolutionary War led to the uniting of North America to become the United States of America. The rebellion against British rule by the North American colonies led to the declaration of independence on July 4, 1776 (Rogers, Ty and Samuel 98). The United States of America focused on following specific cultures and customs different from Great Britain. The North American Englishmen were no longer called English but American to display independence.
Republicanism was started after the independence of the United States to focus on the interests of the nation. The sacrifice of private interests for the nations is an approach applied to make sure that society feels satisfied with the governance approach. The self-sacrifice of the republicans allowed the white citizens in the United States to vote. American-born painters provided crucial art about the culture, geography, and history of the nation (Norton et al. 157). The republicans focused on dealing with the different challenges facing the new nation. The United States focused on developing strategies that avoid dependency on Great Britain for social and economic progress. The virtues and arts were learned by the community in creating a unique culture different from Great Britain.
