Statement of Purpose
My passion for arts arises from the ongoing desire to grow into an influential person with distinguished skillsets and qualifications to revolutionize the niche. I have been interested in advancing my career in this discipline for years since my high school studies. I always researched the best available courses within this area of study, which enabled me to learn about the Arts Management graduate program. Moreover, I have had a sustained interest in organizational dynamics in the Arts, including the contemporary approaches that leaders use to keep the industry thriving. These interests and goals have been fundamental in forming my choice to advance my studies in this master’s program.
I want to study this field because of the diverse opportunities to make a difference in society. Since art is all about expression and sharing of ideas while management concerns itself more with business running issues, I desire to be in a position where I can use my skills and knowledge to reconcile these aspects and create a unified front. The ambition to make a difference in how arts businesses are run, their status in society, and their growth potential is my leading reason for applying to be part of this program in this institution.
