If the business is doing well, it is a good idea to think about expanding it by capturing new customers overseas to gain the International market (Reynolds, 2017). However, before making this decision, it is good to look at some aspects. These aspects include cultural, legal, and regulatory barriers, business cases, and foreign government (Abner, 2015). Cultural differences can determine whether the business will succeed or not. Moreover, before making the primary step, it is necessary to consider some essential components of cultures. Cultural elements include language, symbols, greetings, business etiquettes, and signs (Henman, 2016). This is important because these components differ in each country.
For instance, the cultural components between the Middle East, Latin America, and India are entirely different (Abner, 2015). The counties have different lifestyles and living standards. In the three countries, cultural components differences reflect so well (Reynolds, 2017). For example, in the Middle East, the land is inhabited by Persians, Arabs, Kurdish, Berbers, and Turkish. The five tribes are the most common in the country, and they follow the eastern culture. These tribes tend to be open-minded and less slanted towards fashion (Henman, 2016).
On the other hand, in India, the country is inhabited by Hindus, whose primary language is Hindi, and follows the eastern culture. Most of the Hindus are not open-minded and develop a centralized system while making decisions. In Latin America, most of the people who inhabit the state are Portuguese and Spanish (MORAN, 2018). The two tribes follow the western culture, which is contrary to the people from the Middle East and India. People in Latin America are more open-minded and fashion lovers.
Working in a culturally diverse environment can be challenging (Reynolds, 2017). However, there are few considerations that people should take into place to strengthen their cross-cultural ideas. Firstly, people should acknowledge and respect the existing cultural differences. Secondly, to collaborate well, the involved parties should engage in over-communication. Over communicating can be the right way of interacting (Abner, 2015) since it can help interested parties to understand each other cultural background which, can reduce misunderstanding. Moreover, people need to build good rapport and trust amongst themselves (Henman, 2016).To achieve these people should create a pleasant environment where their team members can feel safe. This can improve their collaboration with each other.
It isn't very easy to use the U.S management style in the three countries (Abner, 2015). This is due to their cultural component differences and social environment. In the three countries, professionalism is not recognized at the superior levels of business relations. In contrast, in the United States, professionalism is the first and essential priority (Henman, 2016). Moreover, in the three countries, social relations play a significant role during management processes such as recruitment, selection, hiring, and job appraisals (Reynolds, 2017). On the other hand, ...
