What amazed you or struck you emotionally?
A few days ago, I was going to the office when I had to stop my car on a red signal. I began looking around for a moment and found an old man holding the hand of his lady and crossing the road. Both of them were over 80 years, and this struck me emotionally because I have never seen a couple alive and spending these many years together. I wish I also get a chance to spend many more years with my wife.
What disappointed or concerned you?
On the same road, I saw a policeman running toward this old couple. The policeman began shouting because both the old man and the old woman were walking very slowly. This disappointed me, as I was expecting the police officer to be polite with them. I wish I could be of help, but it was not possible for me to leave my car in the middle of the road. I think that we all need to learn how to give utmost importance and value to the elderly.
What did you think of the people you met? Socially? Professionally?
It was my first day at the new job and I was expecting a warm welcome. When I reached the office, I saw several people waiting for me in the reception area. They were basically from the HR department and were there to explain what I was going to do during office hours and what would I be paid for my work. I was happy to see their professionalism. They provided me with a cup of tea and gave me a bouquet of flowers.
Did you like them? Trust them? Feel comfortable with them?
I liked them and developed an interest in the work I was going to do. I felt comfortable in the new office as everyone looked friendly and cooperative. I left my previous job due to the fact that people there were not cooperative. They were jealous of one another. However, the environment of this office ...
