I think that job evaluation and job analysis will significantly benefit Customers First. According to Martocchio (2016), job analysis is an ordered and systematic process of collecting, recording, and examining information to formulating a befitting job description. The main aim of performing job analysis is to formulate the best fit for employees and their jobs. Therefore, Customers First will benefit from job analysis by getting the job requirements and descriptions. On the other hand, Martocchio (2016) contents that a job evaluation critically underpins the differences in the relative value and worth among various jobs and determines corresponding pay differentials.
A systematic job evaluation will help Customers First because it will help them conduct job evaluations based on their content and then design and arrange the job schedules according to their priorities and importance. Additionally, conducting a job analysis would help Customers First describe each job assigned to CSRs to ensure that they are working on the required job based on their skill sets (Root, 2019). Hence, this will enable Deborah to know whether employees are qualified for their assigned tasks based on their skills. Therefore, Customers First can use job analysis and job evaluation practices to balance the pay inequalities they currently experience Lipsky (Lowe, 2019). I recommend Deborah for her excellent work because she is willing and ready to discuss the job analysis findings with her supervisors, which could be extrapolated into an organizational-wide evaluation.
