Background Information
Women's football is seeing extraordinary expansion, outstripping its current personnel and financial resources on every level. With records being broken at an unprecedented rate and more attention than ever before, it is time to revolutionize the women's game even further (UEFA, 2019). In the United States, girls and women's football is developing fast, but far very few girls make the leap from being involved in the institutes to joining a club (USWNT & USMNT, 2019). The players will be at the center of this strategy, which will necessitate a "joined-up" attitude from all stakeholders who can influence their development and attempt to ensure that a players’ pathway is accessible to allow them can achieve their maximum potential. The strategic plan was developed after extensive deliberation with the Women's Football Development Department in partnership with all women's football organizations. The concept fits into Inter Miami CF's overall goal of increasing football participation and competitive performance while also using the sport to promote more significant social goals (intermiamicf, n.d.).

To cultivate, foster, and support women's football in Inter Miami CF.
To achieve this goal, six objectives have been developed, each of which will be converted into specific key performance indicators across all operating domains. Oversight, monitoring, and review arrangements are also included in the plan which is a "living" document that will change as it is implemented.
Strategic Plan
The strategic plan aims to create systems that will aid in the development of the game from grassroots to first teams. It heralds a new age in Inter Miami CF for girls' and women's football, marked by clarity and purpose. This plan is meant to be a "living" document that will be revised and modified on a regularly and in accordance with the clubs’ objectives. The Women's Unit will spearhead the plan, laying forth the vision for the next five years. It will also include quantifiable benchmarks for major game areas, allowing the club track the performance in all the areas and make adjustments as needed. This is to ensure continuing advancement and development.
Strategic Context
Inter Miami's Women's Football Plan serves as a strategic framework for the game's development. The strategy takes into account existing research and priority areas set by the administration, as well as existing developments within FIFA and UEFA. The significance of women's football is widely acknowledged and encouraged by international football governing bodies (FIFA, 2015). FIFA's Women's Football Development Programme (2012–2015) encourages all club associations to ensure women's football is one of their top priorities, underlining the positive impact it can have on a society's overall health and well-being.
