The article I choose related to harassment in the workplace is "Behind Closed Doors: In-Home Workers' Experience of Sexual Harassment and Workplace Violence," by Barling, J., Rogers, A. G., & Kelloway, E. K. (2001). The article is a research article since it conducted a study related to harassment in workplaces. The article's objective is to predict both personal and organizational consequences of sexual harassment and workplace violence, especially for the healthcare professionals in home-based care. The most viable is sexual harassment, with the study conducting its primary research concerning sexual misconducts and abusive behaviors. The authors used nurses, social workers, specialists in child management and behavior management in the Canadian province by administering 11000 questionnaires in the workplace. The study results were found out that there were higher cases of sexual harassment and violent behaviors. Two harassment aspects correlate with each other in that they always occur sequentially.
