Why Communication is Important.
Effective communication is important in any working place because it ensures the flow of information which is necessary to increase efficiency, productivity and performance. Communication is the flow of information and effective communication enables information to reach the recipient in a complete, accurate, clear and timely manner to be of value. CITATION Ski13 \l 1033 (Skidmore-Williams, 2013) echoes Mizzioni’s words that ‘at all times, we need to share all the information we can.’ This highlights that information is an important element of ensuring the smooth flow of operations and higher productivity.
How effective communication improves Employees’ trust and engagement
Effective communication is instrumental in improving trust and engagement. When employees communicate they tend to improve their levels of trust as they establish personal and professional relationships. As employees continually interact, they bond and build a cohesive team which is able to achieve its goals and objectives. Effective communication also helps employees to cooperate and work together to solve problems.

Conducting surveys is like ‘diagnosing’ the possible communication issues inherent in the current communication system and style.
