I used to work in an organization that dealt with the repair of bicycles and motorcycles. Therefore, the organization used the dependent methodology whereby it sold some of the spare parts to the customers (Emmett, 2005). This demand methodology played a substantial role in increasing the profits and the customer base of the organization. One of the techniques used was a discounted price for the customer who wanted their bicycles and motorcycles to be repaired from the company. As a result, this created a double profit to the organization: sale of repair parts and the mechanic’s services.
