Claustrophobia is an excerpt from Erik Larson’s The Devil in the White City in which memoir writing is analyzed.
In this chapter, Erik Larson showed the murder of Anna as a focus of this chapter. It narrates how Holmes murdered Anna in his hotel by tricking her to going over her vault and trapped her there.
