Background - Case #1 A woman with personality disorder
Rhonda is a 32-year-old Hispanic female who is single, lives alone and has no children. She appears to have lost hope and indicates she has gone through a traumatic event after breaking up with her boyfriend. She believes everyone is against her, including those she considers friends. She has a history of trouble making from when she was young as she was impulsive and did not do things to fit the social norms. 
Decision Point 1: Antisocial Personality Disorder
The selected option is Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD) and the other decisions are “Borderline Personality Disorder” and “Histrionic Personality Disorder “. Rhonda appears to have various personality disorders, but the signs/symptoms are mostly those for antisocial personality disorder. APD is associated with a disregard for the rights of others where an individual uses deceit and manipulation. Both APD and Borderline Personality Disorder are characterized with manipulative behavior, but those with APD mainly do this for gaining power, profit or material gratification and in BPD it is to gain the concern of caretakers (APA, 2013). There are attention-seeking behaviors in histrionic personality disorder, but the people do not engage in anti-social behaviors, and Rhonda has t if the patient has a criminal history, which is more common in people with APD. I was hoping to evaluate the signs and symptoms to choose the most likely diagnosis and choose an appropriate treatment plan. 
Decision Point 2: Refer to psychologist for psychological testing
