I would use three actors; A young man and a lady both in their early twenties to play the role of Deirdre and Jim respectively. They should be clothed in light clothes making them to shiver in the cold of the night. The clothes should be dirty from the earlier ordeals they encountered that led them to the mausoleum in the night. Jim should be holding a weak flashlight. The third guy would a middle-aged man well-built and tall to portray a horrific figure holding a walking stick when clothed in costumes.
