Journal
The beginning of the monologue reveals Tim, the upset protagonist. Being a significant character in the staging, he takes his time to explain Beth (one of his guests) what the word weird could mean. Beth is clingy and still following her ex, who does not love her anymore. On the other hand, Tim has agreed to have the character that does not boss people around but instead welcomes them. The development of these characters leads the two to meet each other. However, while everyone thinks that Tim is doing the best in the community, Beth comes up with a petty argument that he is weird. Tim does not let her get away with it, and he insanely becomes so upset with her for the stance. Tim thinks that she is the one who could be referred to as being. She came into the basement and started judging and yelling at people for their chosen playlist music. These words show the second time she is eventually judging the people in the basement. How would that character be described? Is she not weird even for that? Going in somewhere and starting yelling at the people whether someone knows them or not is itself strange. Therefore, Tim does not let Beth get away with her actions, and he clearly shows her that she is the weird one.
Tim does not spare Beth even for a bit. He goes ahead to expose her reason for coming to the basement. According to him, Beth is not a regular guest. She has come to seek attention from Jonas (her ex). She sti...
