WK 2 Discussion - Author's Worldview
The author’s worldview reflects in his magical world-building (Anderson 57). It is the author’s perception of realities through experiences that he befits in the character of his protagonist. Additionally, the high fantasy fictions replicate escapism from harsh truths from the real world in which the author lives and endeavours to escape. As a writer, I must show my reader what I know as a limitation of human creativity. When I intend to involve themes in my fiction like politics and dogmas, the traditions, convictions and particularities contribute to the wordplay. However, working on a fantasy story, I cannot separate my conscious and unconscious understanding of magical world-building.
