But people have various beliefs regarding that gospel message, and some have real barriers with accepting it based upon their upbringing and life experiences. After reading The Gospel Message article in Module 4: Week 4, you will answer the following questions. These questions must be answered in separate paragraphs.

Human nature is complex in how people question the gospel message, including its origin and authenticity. However, others accept the gospel and honor it. Most Christians have no problem accepting the gospel message (Chan, 2018). However, they are reluctant to follow the message, claiming it is selective and unclear. At one church, a group of young men was heard questioning the pastor why he claimed that there was only one direct way to heaven while they knew several different ways to get there. It shows that people's different worldviews influence their perceptions of the gospel message. In our culture today, people are turning their backs on the message about Christ. As time goes by, more and more people are discrediting the bible and the gospel message.
Human beings are prone to passing through distinct terrifying moments that make them fail to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. These moments may cause a massive negative stir in their emotions, hardening their hearts and blocking them from accepting Christ. For instance, the sudden death of a loved one may make one lack reason for believing in Christ and His goodness. A story of a young non-Christian couple who had stayed childless for a long time is told. When God finally blessed them with twins, they were overjoyed by the miracle and they thought of accepting Christ as Savior. When the twins were four months old, the family's nanny, who was a psycho, murdered them and torched their house when they had stepped out shopping. The couple was so shaken that they denounced Christ and explained that they could not just understand why such an unfortunate incident happened to them.
