Rabbinic Period
Judaism is a religion that has been around for over a thousand years, and the Jews follow it. It can be traced from the time of Abraham when it was formed in the Sinai desert. The Jewish religion together with the Jews has influenced so much the Western World. They believe that God called Abraham and as an obedient servant, he left his homeland to travel to a distant place. He was followed by his wife, Sarah. The land he left for was called Canaan where God’s promise to him of a son and that he would be the father of many nations despite different obstacles and challenges was fulfilled.
