 Domestic operations and locations
The ERP/ IT systems are configured to be compatible with the company’s databases, where the activities and operations of all the departments are integrated and connected to the system.  In the single sourced system it is possible to manage logistics across the various locations and manage operations since the activities are integrated and updated into the system when there are changes in the supply and logistics chain.  The disparate ERP/ IT systems affect coordination of activities and operations, but a single platform is associated with greater product configuration to maximize values across the company’s division.
At the domestic level, the system allows the control and management of the operations across locations in North Carolina, Virginia and Redlands, CA.  As such, the system ought to interconnect the value chain,   since the company accepts requirements for both domestic suppliers and imports of the leather upholstery components (Denolf et al., 2015). Furthermore, the external environment is changing rapidly and when dealing with imports there is a need to ensure there are no unnecessary delays or disruptions because of miscommunication. The financial management subsystem will include the modules linked financial management issues like account administration, fixed assets personal accounts, banking, company performance, cost accounting, personnel and business administration, business analytics as well as debtors and creditors. The subsystem will improve the accounting, presentation and evaluation of financial information and since there are multiple accounts across the divisions, it will be possible to monitor changes, which affect the various divisions and company as a whole.
The supply chain management focuses on the functions related to logistics, manufacturing production, warehouse management, distribution, and inventory management.   The supply chain processes are integrated to guarantee efficiency and intercompany functionality, which links the supply chain activities and help to improve scheduling in anticipating changes in demand.  The supply chain functionality affects the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain and logistics system (Panahifar et al., 2015).  Furthermore, there is synergy in logistics where the US manufacturing plants located in Hickory, N.C. and Bedford, Va, and mfg supply plant in Cherryville, N.C . are linked to distribution and warehouses located in: Martinsville, Va, High Point, N.C., Madison, N.C., Mayodan, N.C., Redlands, CACustomer relationship management is linked to marketing and sales activities including the functions related to customer relations and marketing.   Improving customer relations helps spur growth while there is better forecasting and planning of production and sales to meet customer demands and requirements.
