Business process management (BPM) entails the control of business processes in an organization in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness (Jeston & Nelis, 2010) and (Chang, 2005). This is especially applicable in times of crisis where the organization can monitor processes and focus on cost efficiency. Nonetheless, BPM should be continuous in order to ensure uninterrupted flow of processes where changes are undertaken in the improvement (Jeston & Nelis, 2010). Typically, businesses have many automation processes that improve organizations when properly handled. Thus, BPM seeks to integrate system and human resources in a way that optimizes processes in an organization.
