In this new age of digitalization, the transition to new media poses numerous challenges to the traditional art world. The infiltration of new and digitalized media as tools and mediums has caused a drastic shift in art collection, presentation, and preservation.
One of the most common issues is the continuous development of technology, which contributes to the lack of a solid foundation to define art. The transition has also created multiple loopholes for a privacy violations, data loss, and access to unauthorized information. Although new media makes art more visible, appealing, and accessible to clients worldwide, it can also be used as an object of destruction.
