In this paper, the author will provide a worldly and Christian view of the scripture written in Peter 3:4
"But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price" (KJV)
If read literally, a person who does not appreciate God's might or believe in any other God can take this passage from the Bible as a piece of counsel without knowing who or what it is purpose is. However, adopting the words and teachings of the Bible from a Christian perspective is difficult because they must live with it and be consistent; they must always put God first in whatever they do and consider whether their actions are in line with what God desires. Christians do not only take God's words literally; instead, they endeavor to internalize them for themselves and others.
The first part of the text says, "But let it be the hidden man of the heart," which means there should be no other but yourself instead. As Christians, our confidence in God is so strong that we will set aside everything to honor him; this faith is self-generated since no one can force us to worship any God. Therefore, our decision is based on our faith.
