There will always be a time when the individual who has agreed to a condition will not be very receptive because they do not fully comprehend the agreement that they have, whether it is informal or for a commercial proposal. When the other team in a firm agrees to a choice made by the leading team, they may do so just because the leading team wants their approval. In this case, the "other team" merely serves as a conduit for approval and offers no cooperation. This is one of the things that this insight tries to steer clear of since when an agreement has been reached, both teams should gain, not only the team that has the upper hand. This will build a "Golden Bridge" between the two teams.
What is in it for the opposing team, as this Golden Bridge asks? ", building a golden bridge entails providing and educating the opposing team with the advantages of their gains over the course of the contract. They can accomplish this by asking the opposing side for their thoughts on the conditions that have been agreed upon and adding ideas that they believe would enhance the project that has been agreed upon. Of course, their suggestions should be valued and acknowledged in order for them to feel that they are important and that the project they have agreed upon will benefit from them (“7 ways business can be agents for peace | World Economic Forum”).
Since an agreement between teams that are employed by the same organization requires them to come together and have no bitter feelings, it is crucial to take into account the "Golden Bridge" construction. Even if the other teams were successful in gaining agreement on a particular project or activity, the organization should remain cohesive. Despite winning the agreement, the opposing team is obviously not entirely correct (“Wisdom in Seeking and Considering Opinions of Others”). They must request constructive feedback from the opposing side in order to learn about the defects that may be addressed while putting the project they have won over the agreement into practice (“Understanding Cons...
