Chapter 12: Ethical issues
Chapter 12 contains exciting insights about data analytics. It opened my thoughts about our daily use of the internet, how we expose our data to third parties with or without our consent, and the amount of information we share. The ethical issue that is disturbing is the privacy of the data. Sites like YouTube share adverts at the beginning of a video, and I always wonder where it gets my data because the ads suggested are often relevant to what I do.
