These artificial intelligence raise several ethical issues in the community. Self-driving vehicles as an artificial intelligence is raising several ethical issues. The artificial intelligence will lead to loss of jobs in the United States (Shashkevich, 2020). This is because self-driving vehicles will eliminate the need for human drivers in the transport industry.
The disabled will potentially benefit from the application of the artificial intelligence. This is because they will not need to pay the human drivers. Also, the elderly people will benefit from the self-driven vehicles because will be independent and will not need to employ human drivers (Srinivasa, 2019). The self-driven cars will disadvantage the employed human drivers the most. This is because their services will no longer be needed with the advancement of technology. Most the human drivers are going to lose their jobs. Research shows that this artificial intelligence is going to eliminate around 300,000 driving jobs in the United States every year (Reinicke, 2018).
