Driving is perhaps one of the most common yet dangerous activities that a person performs in his life. It requires an utmost precaution because it does not only entail the safety of oneself but also of others on the road. This simply shows how necessary careful driving is for everyone. In this article, the author would discuss one of the most common reasons for negligent driving, which is the use of cellphones. Even though using phones while driving has its benefits (i.e., convenience, GPS orientation), the risks that it entails to everyone should significantly outweigh the benefits that it has, which necessitates its banning.
Why Phones should be Banned
One of the primary reasons why the use of phones should be banned while driving is because of the dynamic conditions of the road. It must be noted that some people use their phone in such a manner that they focus most of their attentions on their phone rather than the road.
