For this assignment, I will discuss affordable healthcare and Policy Making in Healthcare.
Concept A
Health is a significant element in day to day life of an individual. The insight that I learned from access to affordable healthcare is that healthcare administrators can make services available to patients through the implementation of strategies such as operation cost minimization, collaborations with non-profit agencies, government, and community organizations as well as negotiating insurance premium plans that can easily be accessed by patients. According to the Census Bureau Report of 2020, approximately 28 million Americans do not have insurance coverage, which is crucial in the Patient Protection and Affordable Act of 200. This means if the individuals are not from a well socio-economic status, they are on the verge of not being able to afford healthcare. Thus, healthcare administrators can play a significant role in ensuring patients can afford insurance premium plans for the services.
