Movie Review Instructions:

The concepts that we are reading about in organizational behavior are everywhere, if you just look for the connections. In this assignment, I am asking you to engage in your favorite indoor leisure activities each week (reading, watching tv, watching theater/live performances, ) and find examples of the Organizational Behavior concepts you have been learning about.
Each journal entry should be a page to two (double spaced) in length. It should identify at least 2 different OB concepts (they can be from different programs) and clearly state:
The title of the book/show/performance
The name of the organizational concept(s) identified
A justification/explanation of what scene made you think of the concept
Why the concept-scene linkage is accurate
Again, you examples can be from different shows/books/plays in a single week. Each week I do expect to see some variety in what you are watching/reading in your examples (basically you can't use the same movie or TV show episode for all 7 weeks). Your examples should be about a paragraph long, and have proper spelling and grammar. Please ensure that you clearly identify your concept and source material, and have the proper citations at the end of you paper so that I can check them out if I am confused. You can use footnotes in this assignment series if you wish, but otherwise the format should match APA. If you have a link to the video (from you tube) please include it after the reference. If you watched something in from Hulu, Prime, or Netflix or other TV app, please include that information in your reference as well after the proper APA citation.

Nerve is a film that is timely since it represents the people of today’s society who are greatly influenced by technology. Connecting it to organizational behavior, the game is the organization, and the people who are called ‘Players’ and ‘Watchers’ are the people under this organization. From this, I will point out the connection between motivation and involvement in the movie Nerve.
Saravanakumar (2019) defined motivation as different factors that cause an individual to perform a specific behavior, while organizational involvement refers to how an individual has the willingness to perform more than what was needed. Both of these concepts greatly relate to the movie.
