Western civilization covers a constellation of various customs, beliefs, political systems and previous events practiced in European and western culture. Philosophers claim that the influence of western civilization is global because it defined the culture of both North America and South America and other countries. Additionally, western civilization is believed to have started during the Roman period where philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle laid the ground work for all American philosophical ideas (EXD. 2012). Religious movements promoted Civilization later mostly in Europe following the fall of Roman Empire.
Paleolithic period is recognized as the period when human history begun. During this era, human kind made various inventions including hand tools, arts and language. Surviving in the old age required human being to adapt to various environments because there was no social amenities, technology and infrastructure like today. Therefore, human being survived through various methods of finding food such as hunting and gathering (Morgan, Taple. 2015). Finding food was human’s main activity during the Stone Age or the Paleolithic period. Early human invented agriculture after past experiences in searching for food. Later, human being learnt that it was necessary to cook food and he begun to use fire to roast stake.
Among major importance of this period, Invention of hunting tools and methods of hunting remain very important. Besides, they invented scrapping tools which were used to clean animal hides and skin to be used as clothing and shelter. Additionally, early man invented spears and arrows which made hunting easier.
