Film distribution is a critical part of the film industry. Without film distributors, there would be no movie stars or multi-billion-dollar studios. Film distributors have a vital role in identifying what the audience wants and providing it to them. If an audience identifies with a particular movie star, then a film distributor is likely to choose a film with that star and then distribute it. If a renowned studio backs a movie, its distribution becomes more manageable because it is willing to invest in the end product.
As a film distribution intern, I will have the chance to engage in the roles mentioned above. However, since I have no experience, my role will be reduced to one of an assistant.
