Effects of Immigration in the United States
Many incidences have been reported of people who have illegally crossed the borders into the United States. It is tough to cross the borders as they flee from the dangers in their native countries and search for safer regions. They settle in the new country and look for work in their new environments (MacDonald and Sampson 8). Due to this, the American government should close its borders to prevent more immigrants from moving getting into the country.
There are alarming numbers of refugees in America. The increase has been experienced over the last three decades and is steadily increasing (MacDonald and Sampson 6). The increase in the number of refugees results in a change in the culture of a particular society such that the original is lost. Thus, to maintain the culture of the people of the United States, the immigrants have to be stopped from coming into the country.
Undocumented members in a society can quickly form terrorist groups. The possibility of such people being in a country where immigration is allowed is very high. Their presence is a threat since they even sneak into the country with illegal weapons. The...
