For a long time, it was believed that the connections and functions of the brain become fixed with age. Research now indicates that the brain does not stop changing and learning. It means we learn new things and gain knowledge regardless of our age and gender, and the process of the brain to modify different connections is known as the plasticity of the brain. I still remember my school days when I and my brother were taught to begin the day-to-day activities after offering the prayer. Being religious and narrow-minded, our parents also wanted me to wear the veil before stepping out of the house. Both of these things brought positive changes in my life. First of all, offering prayer was something that gave me internal peace and satisfaction. Similarly, veil protected me from evil eyes. With time, I felt that both of these habits helped me boost my confidence.
