I Believe: Tomorrow will be a better day
Tomorrow will be a better day is a statement that is often associated with ‘losers.’ Some people believe that this statement is defeatist or negative at best. So, for this group of people, this statement ought not to be said by those who consider themselves ‘go-getters.’ These will people will ask why not cease today? The phrase carpe diem is used to urge people to cease today and not think or wait for the future. But, I have a problem with anyone who has the mentality described above. I believe that every single day gifts us an opportunity to be better, to grow, learn, evolve, and make the best of the new opportunities coming our way. Asking people to seize the day is not bad, but there should be a provision for those who do not manage to attain the level of success they were looking for. So, I do hold a strong belief that tomorrow is a chance for redemption, a chance to seize new opportunities, and an opportunity for growth and development.
The word tomorrow should be taken to mean or needs to be interpreted as a chance for redemption. In life, people are given opportunities, and few are prepared enough to take advantage of these opportunities. So, when one fails to seize their opportunity, it is only fair that they are granted other opportunities because luck may not have been on their side today. Tomorrow is indeed a chance for redemption. I love ballet dancing and at some point in my life, I tried to audition for ballet dancing.
