Safety and Precautionary Measures to Deal with Covid-19

Good day everyone. At the start of this year, the world has suddenly faced a virus. This virus was reported to have originated from China, Wuhan, to be exact. Just like many other viruses that have spread to a lot of places, many may have thought that this specific type of virus is similar to the other coronavirus strains that the world had seen before. But, as the days and weeks went by, so does the number of infected civilians and deaths, and we soon realize that this specific coronavirus is a different case. Later on, called COVID-19 as it continues to spread from China to other parts of the world.
I am here to talk about measures that we could do to help fight against this novel virus, COVID-19. Aside from the fact that COVID-19 is a novel virus, surprising each one of the different unknown aspects of the disease and the effects of this on a human being. This topic is not just a concern for the medical personnel or healthcare workers anymore, but every human being on this planet. The countries all over the world are now joining forces to come up with the vaccine and medications that will cure COVID-19, prevent further spread of the virus, and finally put a stop to the increasing death rates.
A pandemic is not common, especially in this generation. But this is already the reality that we are facing today. People, both from first-world countries and the developing countries, regardless of status are all affected. A lot of people have lost their jobs, sports events which are very looked forward to are now postponed, airports are now close with restrictions about international and domestic flights implementing travel bans, and yet the already high death rates are still increasing. Health is our main concern, but it is not the only concern. This pandemic has also affected the economic standing of the countries and when we look around a lot of civilians are deeply affected by the sudden changes that we had to undergo, but these changes are vital for our survival through this pandemic.
