Introduction
Currently, the world is battling the coronavirus pandemic, which has taken a great toll on normal life and daily activities. For instance, the pandemic has affected businesses, with several countries opting for a total lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the virus in their countries. The impact the pandemic has had is represented by various uncanny images.

This is an uncanny photo because it shows empty an empty public space, which has become the norm in recent weeks as it shows how different countries are responding to the coronavirus pandemic. The photo points out to a rather frightening situation, and also draws viewers to the unfamiliar and otherworldly scenes which have been brought about by the pandemic.
