Discuss three factors that are contributing to lethal violence. Using the Problem Analysis Triangle (introduced in Week Two), discuss three potential initiatives to counter gun violence. What are examples of initiatives outside the criminal justice system (i.e., law enforcement, courts, and corrections) that can impact crime and criminal issues?

Gun violence is a multidimensional and complex problem that results to use of guns in an unlawful way that can cause harm, accidents or death intentional. Gun violence is linked with the convergence of community, school and socio-cultural risk factors that interact over time during adolescence and childhood (American Psychological Association, 2017). Gun violence incidences can either be mass shootings, suicide or homicide. Reducing occurrences of gun violence intensifying from suicide or unlawful transgression is the main objective of wider prime and secondary intervention and prevention tactics.
