Immigration and migration are both historical and contemporary human phenomena defining the current societies. They have influenced society heterogeneity in terms of racial, tribal, and ethnic diversities. Immigration and migration patterns had led to an increasingly unique emerging set of perceptions and attitudes about migrant populations, individuals, or groups.
Population migration has led to increased social interactions and changes in perceptions and attitudes. These perceptions are both positive and negative., Perceptions due to human migration are significant drivers of attitudes, policies, and programs in the increasingly complex global interconnectedness (Segal, 2019). First, population migration has enhanced positive perceptions and attitudes towards people and individuals belong to different ethnic, tribal, cultural, and racial origins. According to Laura, Kat & Christine (2020), increased interactions with persons of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds are associated with more positive attitudes about diversity. For instance, the U.S community is primarily heterogeneous in terms of ethnic, cultural, and racial origin.
