I agree with the Health behaviors as stated in the essay. However, health is not only determined by the physical activities that a person has. It is determined by the relationship of various aspects of a person’s life, such as mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical arenas. The healthy behaviors stated above all pertain to physical acts that promote a healthy body.
Rejection of smoking reduces harm and damage that can be done to the body. It is proven that smoking causes the body's tissues to deteriorate and affects the normal functioning of organs, especially the lungs. Excessive drinking increases the risks for acquiring injuries, violence, and incidence of liver disease and cancer. Regulated drinking can be healthy as it may reduce the risk of heart disease, but on the other hand, anything in excess can be detrimental.
