It is also reported that one in every five high schoolers utilize e-cigarettes to vape nicotine. The e-cigarettes are powered by batteries, and produce and inhalable vapor after heating an aerosol. The aerosol usually contains nicotine from tobacco and has other ingredients such as mint, mango, and tobacco. Understanding the pros and cons of the issue is important for diverse stakeholders involved in decision-making.

In the contemporary times, it is easier to find e-cigarettes in local stores, gas stations, and other smoke cafes. There are also health benefits associated with the use of e-cigarettes.
