This course provides an overview of theories, concepts, and research findings used to explain the behavior of individuals and groups/teams in work organizations.
Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are to help you to (1) Develop an understanding of the social and psychological foundations of individual and Team behavior in organizations, (2) Develop insights into your own behavior and leadership style through self-assessment and reflection (3) Acquire several skills needed to be an effective learner and an effective manager, and (4) to demonstrate the ability to apply what you have learned to commonly faced managerial problems
Course Learning Goals
At the end of the semester, students who have successfully completed all course requirements should be able to:

Student’s ability to apply OB concepts, theories and research findings will be assessed through discussion board posts, the application paper, and the Ted Talk Presentation .
Assess and develop personal skills needed to succeed as a manager.
Students’ skill development will be assessed though reflections on the self-assessments, the application paper, and discussion board posts.

The behavioral approach course has helped me in my workplace. Through this course, I now have a different perspective of management and the workmates.
