Executive Summary
The main objective of this marketing strategy is to be able to promote the firm Whole Foods to teenage consumers who are living in the United States with the use of Social Media. The main goals of this strategy are (1) to increase teenage consumer preference towards Whole Food Products and (2) to be able to gain an additional of at least 6000+ followers/subscribers in the Whole Food’s Social Media pages under the ‘fitness’ category after a period of 2 months.
To achieve this goal the main platforms that would be used are Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. First, Facebook would be used in order to build a ‘community’ over the Whole Food products that is primarily targeted towards the consumer segment. Facebook is a widely used platform where individuals coming from different consumer segments can build a social group revolving around a particular topic. Since teenagers’ ‘fitness awareness’ has consistently increased with the advent of social media, this consumer segment would be particularly targeted as a ‘fitness awareness group’.
