This paper gives brief discussion on the relevance of ethics and values in an organization. Ethics and values are among the factors that allow people to enter the business industry of any field. A scripture from Ecclesiastes 9:10 that says “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.", is also given reflection with regard to ethics and values. This scripture reflects the work ethics that people must pour in their workspaces. The three consequential theories -- ethical egoism, utilitarianism, and altruism -- are also discussed in this paper.
