I took a walk around the Pentagon, the defense headquarters. It is an organization I admired for their dedication to providing national security. The drive around the building is long, almost ten minutes on average speed. Some observations are as below. It was not possible to get inside due to the restrictions to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Step 1
* A correctly done fence around it, acting as a barrier
* A manicured lawn visible from outside
* Several window spaces left on the front view than any other side
* When you get inside, the primary entrance has a large lawn getting into the building
* Concrete pillars to support the layers of the building
* An all-round road surrounding the building
* On the website, where the different colors used for the website
* Stepwise guidance on booking, history, and more information about the defense department
* Has some brief representation of statistics at the bottom of the page
* An aerial view of the building, showing the shape pentagon as the name suggests
Step 2: Analyze the Visual Artifacts
From the artifacts observed, the Pentagon is a complicated place, from the appearance to the way they handle their guests. Their way of building alone is massive and uses strong material. The material with the pillars visible from the front end gives the impression of a strong anchor to their organization. This reflects on their culture to always be the defenders of the United States. The several windows are for visibility, which could give those inside a proper view of what happens outside their building.
