The great divorce
The book 'the great divorce’ is an allegoric work, based on mind fiction settled in the narrator's dream. The author, Lewis, uses marginalized fantasies to bring to notice clear expectations in Christianity. Indeed, in chapter nine narrator met MacDonald in the valley of the shadow of life. MacDonald is a tall Scottish theologian and writer who turned out to be the narrator's hero and a discussion partner. Notably, MacDonald and the narrator encountered various ghosts at the valley portraying numerous themes in the chapters. For instance, the narrator met a famous ghost artist who was convinced to remain in the valley by a spirit against its will. Since the ghost wanted an environment where his artistic work would be recognized and appreciated by intellectuality.
